Yeah I know we have been slacking in the Draco family getting everyone updated on what’s been going on. Let’s start by introducing the developments taking place by Draco Productions. First off, Draco will be doing a major overhaul of War Prophecy Magazine, cutting out of what we feel to be unnecessary material. We will not be focusing on the bike builders and biking community as we have in the past. We have our own reasons for the decisions made for such important changes. We will leave you with this much… that the biker community is just not headed in the direction that Draco Productions and WPM expected after its involvement of over two years (which is prior to the first publication of WPM).
Our second round of up and coming is that IT’S TIME TO PARTY!!! July 10th, 2010 will mark the 3 year anniversary of Draco Productions in Second Life, and the anniversary of the first full year for WPM will be July 15th, 2010. We invite everyone and anyone to attend a kick ass part being held on the Draco Productions / Draco Speedway sim. There will be plenty of contests, bands and SL racing to get your blood pumping. So be sure to attend for an awesome time as only Draco can put on.
We have pretty much leveled the ground floor of the Draco sim (Sands Estates), to further your Second Life racing. Will be building a boat racing track down on the ground. The roads for riding are still there, though in a different format… but will have a dock for boating enthusiasts as well as beach for those who wish to catch some rays (lol). There will be more added as we figure it in.
It is my honor to announce the collaboration between some of the very best in Second Life racing, working together to unify racers in SL, as well as track owners. It is our sincere hopes to organize non-dramatic racing series and circuits across Second Life grid… for all to work together. This organization will be known as “Grid Wide Motorsports” or GWM, and is comprised of Dagoth Graves (Founder/ CEO of Draco Productions, WPM and Draco Speedway), MB Robonaught (Founder and owner of Kustom Klassics) and Raver Bellow (Founder and Owner of Raver Designs).
On the Draco Bands end of things, new “Tribute bands” have been added to our roster. These include Metallica, ZZ Top, The Eagles, Journey, Godsmack (pending), Bon Jovi (retro 1980s), Cinderella, Poison, Heart, Rolling Stones, Joan Jett, Apocalyptica, Exodus, Disturbed and Johnny Cash. We would also like to welcome aboard MorbidBeauty Oleander… real life musician of the popular 80s band “The Pandoras”… a retro 60s rock quartet of very hot females. Draco is proud to be approached on managing, promoting and producing this new tribute in Second Life. If you are a fan of retro 60s garage rock, rockabilly, psychobilly, etc… you will love The Pandoras. Prepare for the attack of this as well as the many other bands and performers Draco Productions provide to the SL grid.
Kustom Klassics is the premier racing organization in Second Life. Owner/Operator, MB Robonaught is among the finest in hot rod building and scripting, as well as running a highly respectable raceway. It is Draco Productions’ honor to have them as part of the Draco team and visa versa. Draco Productions/Draco Bands will be performing several concerts at the raceway, so keep an eye open for the schedule. Draco Racing will also be up and running strong very shortly, and we are in hopes that we can coordinate with Kustom Klassics in some premium racing events. Wicked Swashbuckler of WBCC (Wicked’s Bikes, Cars & Customs),is a very talented and serious builder of some the VERY BEST hot rods and high prim bikes in Second Life. He is an award winning builder whose attention to detail, has made him highly respected by his peers. Draco Productions is proud to introduce them as the next partnering company in our new Draco Racing division. Wicked is working on some killer cars for our racing team. If you want to see some of the very best rides in SL, head over to Wicked’s shop and be sure to bring a handkerchief to wipe away the drewl.
It has been a long time coming but we finally have the “Live Artists” tab added to the site. Here you will be able to view Draco Productions’ live performers in Second Life as well as their Real World bios. Check out artists such as StevenJaimz Hunniton and Quintin Pizzaro and all of their accomplishments. More and more will be added to this section. For their schedules, please look at the “Upcoming Events” link to the upper right of the site.
Draco Productions & SLurgis become official partnering entities!
Throughout the two and a half years in it’s existence, Draco Productions Corporation and affiliates has been working with many outside companies/sims/music industry. We have approximately 35 sponsoring companies in SL (sponsoring companies for Draco’s events and concerts) and 6 partnering companies. Among these sponsors has been LiL SLurgis, the original biker sim owned and operated by HD & Paeoti Pomeray. LiL Slurgis is a ‘true’ Second Life Landmark, serving the SL biker community for over four years. Draco Productions is proud to announce an official ‘partnership’ between Draco Productions Corp. and LiL Slurgis as of Feb. 19, 2010.
This partnership includes The SLurgis sims, Nymphetamine and all of it’s affiliate services owned and managed by Paeoti Pomeray. Mind you, this is not a monetary partnership or joint ownership, therefore neither partner are in control of monies or the every day business operations of said companies. This is a promotions and mutually strong support for each other’s interests, as well as looking out for each others best interests.
Draco Productions / Draco Bands / War Prophecy Magazine will be doing more and more events there, assisting in taking SLurgis to it’s next level of entertainment and event hosting. SLurgis will reciprocate in assisting Draco in reaching it’s next plateau of event coordination and services. We here at Draco Productions and subsidiaries take great pride in our partnerships across the Second Life grid and would like to welcome LiL SLurgis as part of a new alliance and family.
Draco Productions started as an underground extreme metal club known as Blaspheme in July, 2007 by Dagoth Graves. It immediately developed tribute bands in the extreme metal genres. By January, 2008 we expanded into creating rock and metal festivals, building, performing weddings and miscellaneous small businesses. In April, 2008 Dagoth officially incorporated into one company… Draco Productions. Presently Draco consists of Draco productions, Draco Bands, IMPALED, Dragon’s Flair, By Invitation only, Draco Publications (includes War Prophecy Magazine), Second Hand Smoke, Draco Graphics, Paine Designs and Draco Special Events .
As of January 1st , 2010 Draco Productions has a new home. The name of our new sim and home is Draco Corporate Holdings (on Sands Estates, part of the Sands of Freedom family). On Draco’s new home, you will find a variety of great things to keep you entertained and fill much of your shopping needs. At the bottom of this notecard you can read more about the sim’s amenities. Draco Productions: The heart of the Corporation and umbrella company. Draco is heavily involved in creating, sponsoring and promoting rock and metal events and concerts. Draco Bands: Draco consists of approximately 44 Tribute bands (always adding more upon request) in SL, some of which are endorsed by the RL band we pay tribute to. By Invitation Only: This is a subsidiary company of Draco which builds and sells custom invitations for every occasion, decorations, wedding set ups, floral arrangements, party supplies, etc. Contact Blaize Rockett for more info or stop by our office. Great for Weddings, Birthdays, Rezzdays, anniversaries, etc.
Draco Publications: Works hand in hand with By Invitation Only on many things. Primarily our Publications department handles photo albums from events, invitation text, greeting cards and our Metal, Biker & Hot Rod magazine called “War Prophecy Magazine”.
Draco Special Events: This division arranges, performs and hosts weddings, Rezzday Parties, Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, etc. If you have a special event or meeting, we can custom tailor it to your specifications.
Draco Graphics: This is our Photography and graphics studio which assists in most of Draco Productions events. Draco Graphic Arts also does private photo shoots for profile pics, modeling agencies, wedding photos, etc. You need a professionally done photograph or set of photographs, please contact Dagoth Graves or Blaize Rockett for more information.
IMPALED: A premier shop specializing in Gothic furniture, Black/Death metal and biker apparel, Weapons, custom thrones & dungeon equipment, vampire beds and all around darkness. New things are constantly built, so check in from time to time and see what’s new.
Dragon’s Flair: This is Draco’s newest group of shops created by Blaize Rockett. The majority of the merchandise we carry is furniture and jewelry, including the best wedding sets in SL…custom built for your needs of the gothic, medieval, and celtic styles.
Paine Designs: Founded by RedAngel Paine, Paine Designs has decided to merge with Draco Productions Corp. as it’s newest store… specializing in top notch prefabs and miscellaneous products.
We have recently joined forces with a few select content creators in like genres to open our new type of mall in SL… Draco Mall. Rather than each store getting their own little space, each creator can place their fitting content in the department so that you the customer can see all we have to offer in that category or department.

*Draco Mall – What makes Draco Mall unique you may ask? Well most malls are set up where the individual vendor has his/her own store inside the mall. Draco Mall is a unity-based department store type of project. The mall is divided into departments. The vendor puts their product in each respective department where a teleporter is in each department for the customer to navigate. At Draco Mall, the customer comes looking for a specific item (clothing, weapons, gothic, furniture, jewelry, etc…), every vendor has their item for sale in that department so the customer can select whose product they like best or suits their needs. The vendor keeps their own brand separate however, using their own vendors, sales boards, etc…. think of Sears or Macy’s.
*Blaspheme Club – Home of Blaspheme MC but not exclusive. This club is open to all and a very extreme neutral club for all to have fun and party! the club is being revamped into a more gothic theme, with a variety of hard rock, heavy metal, extreme metal and a few surprise weekly and/or monthly events in mixed genres. Come and have a good time… but please leave the bullshit at the door!
*Draco Arena – Where only the best tributes, live performers and other entertainers perform. Special events are also held at this location, 1200m up in the sky (to reduce lag) including bike & hotrod build competitions, bike & car races, weddings, receptions, rez day parties, birthday parties, anniversaries, etc…. (Check with management to make any arrangements or to rent a spot for your event).
*Fishing!!! That’s Right… we have fishing. For all the enthusiasts out there, there will be daily & weekly fishing events with special prizes and custom critters to snag with your pole. You never know what crazy things can pop up! For fishing schedule & details, contact Gaultry Blackburn.
*Blaspheme MC - The new sim is the home to the original Blaspheme MC… neutral and always out to party and have a few laughs without the normal dramatic bullshit. Come and hang out… either way it is about having a good time with a multi-faceted family environment. *RIDING!!! Draco Productions’ new sim is part of the Sands of Freedom sims… because we choose to be. SoF has the best roads to ride in SL, and things to see and enjoy. SoF is loaded with some of the best people you will meet in Second Life (or RL for that matter). It has loads of things to do on the 10 full sims (and 2 homestead sims) all loaded with roads to ride on and some the most spectacular scenery… as well as awesome clubs, fishing, parties, events, etc.. So jump on your ride and tour all the sims… starting with Draco Corporate Holdings sim>> Sands Estates.
It is known that Draco Productions and its affiliates have been a prominent company in the music, entertainment and merchandising industries of SL since 2007. The time has come for us to move into other areas of Second Life. Therefore, we have done so by entering the racing genres of SL. We are feverishly working on our newest subsidiary company “Draco Racing”. We anticipate entering the amazing world of auto racing in the drag racing, gasser, mods, dirt bike, drag bike, etc… areas. Draco has entered into an alliance and partnership with Amber Racing.. one of the largest racing circuits in Second Life. We truly feel this is a logical step in the evolution of Draco and its next step into the future.
On February 13th… Draco Productions partnered with Amber Raceway. We will be rocking them out with our concerts twice a month and make sure to keep a look out for our custom hearse in the upcoming races.
We are currently seeking qualified drivers to represent Draco Productions in this endeavor. We are working on building a superior team of top notch vehicles as well. Today we had out last x-mas Season show at Twisted Thorn Textures. Over 150 Pyros, lights, and special effects. The biggest lightshow SL has ever seen and it was awesome! Thanks to all who joined us at this incredible New Year’s Party.
